It has been a hard month and a half and at the same time we may be learning more than ever before. As you probably know, Randy Harvey, Rachael's dad, went to be with Jesus at the end of July, right in the middle of so many plans that we had and ministries that we were doing together here in Malisheve. The way that we told our kids was, "you know what grampa did? that stinker. He went to be with Jesus before us!" They took it very hard in the beginning but now seem to understand it more than we do at times. I'm not writing to give the whole story of what happened or what we have been learning from it. I just want to keep in contact to keep the prayer going and increase it. In fact that is the very thing that the Lord has shown us to do, to continue the work that was begun here by the Lord through Randy and even others before him and to increase it.
We especially need to be in prayer in these days. These precious people only have one hope and that is Jesus. But they as a people in general entirely reject Him. Like the Gadarenes that don't want Jesus in their region. It is true that 98% of the Albanians here are muslim. 2% are Catholic and around .01% are evangelical Christians. We feel it everyday. But I am reminded tonight that the numbers count for nothing. Though the task before us seems impossible (and it really does). One man with the Lord is the majority. There is no measure of what faith in Him will bring. Let us bring it here together in the name of Jesus.
