Our overall vision expressed through our statement of faith and then our vision specifically for Kosovo
OUR VISION SPECIFICALLY FOR KOSOVO
JUST ASK
(Matthew 7:7-8). This Scripture actually started the thought when we were looking for a vision for our Care team for Kosovo. The statistics for evangelical believers in Kosovo is at about .1%. We had considered "it's on" as our theme referring to the spiritual battle, let's get it on. But that was not fitting, it could easily be misunderstood and the focus, as we would see, was too much about us and not the Lord Himself.
(Psalm 2) came to mind as we talked. In it the Father tells the Son, Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. (v8) This makes it completely about Him and takes asking into a whole new realm. Now it's like we are being invited into something that God is doing. Something that is going on within His very being. In Christ (as part of the body of Christ) we are asking the Father for this nation. The goal being that Christ would receive the reward of His suffering, the salvation of the people of Kosovo. Also at this point we began to realize that there are so many times in Scripture that the LORD tells His people to just ask in prayer.
(1 John 5:14-15) It can easily sound like some kind of health and wealth declaration but all of the times God tells us to ask it is directly connected with His character (in My Name), His desires and His will. It's all about His will being done and asking is the way that He has ordained for that to happen. If we ask anything according to His will we are confident that He will do it, in His timing. This is what is so exciting. We are just lining up with the Lord in what He is doing.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe that God’s love is for all mankind and that because of His love, He sent Jesus to die on the cross for man’s sin and that He was resurrected on the third day.
THEREFORE: We proclaim forgiveness of sins and a resurrected Lord.
2. We believe that all Scriptures are inspired by God and are profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequately equipped for every good work. II TIMOTHY 3:16 & 17
THEREFORE: We give emphasis to the teaching of the Word.
3. We believe God has raised up “gifted” men to equip the body of Christ, that it might mature and grow up in Christ. EPHESIANS 4:11-16
THEREFORE: We seek out gifted men and equip them to teach the Word.
4. We believe in the soon-return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
THEREFORE: We go and make disciples of all nations. MATTHEW 28:19
5. We believe that there is only one body in Christ and that though there are many variances in His church, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are all one through Christ.
THEREFORE: We are diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit.
EPHESIANS 4:3
